CONCEPT:

A woman finds herself navigating the complex emotions that follow a one night stand. The story is told by observing the relationship between two juxtaposing scenes.

SCENE ONE

SCENE ONE

THE ONE NIGHT STAND

The film starts with a man leaving a bar late at night, followed closely by his drunk friends. He calls the woman.

She answers the phone from her room and invites him over. When he arrives they immediately become intimate.

The look and feel of this scene will evoke the feelings of lust associated with a one night stand.

SCENE TWO

SCENE TWO

THE AFTERMATH

After the one night stand, the woman wakes up, but the entire bedroom is in a field. This represents the feeling of vulnerability and loneliness felt when feelings aren't reciprocated.

She brings him breakfast in bed as a platonic gesture before he leaves, but secretly wishes he'd stay.

After he leaves, the woman is left to reflect on her feelings alone.

PERFORMANCE

BEACH PERFORMANCE.jpg

PERFORMANCE

Kylie will have performance scenes in both the bedroom scene at night, and the field shots during the day. She will also have a standalone performance scene at a beach during golden hour/sunset.

In the bedroom, Kylie will be sitting at the end of the bed, performing, while the pair are hooking up in different parts of the room. Kylie is in the room but seperate from their world.
